It's time to talk about saving your American Dream by fixing Health Care

It is time to take back our country and look forward to the future. I believe in America and the power of the American Dream. I know that each and every one of you has a dream. Here in this great nation we know that all dreams are achievable no matter the size. However, to continue those dreams for the next generation we must make changes that will enhance our personal freedoms while removing the large burden of the federal government on its people. I know that one of the largest impediments to your American Dream is the Affordable Care Act. We must do two things with regard to this arduous law. First, we must Repeal it. Second, we must Replace it. By doing these two things we will Restore our freedoms and your American Dream.

First, we must Repeal the Affordable Care Act! We have to restore our individual freedoms because they are the bedrock of our nation. We cannot allow the government to mandate health care coverage on its free people. That is against our founding principles. For that reason alone, we must fight to repeal this law. This law has weighed down many and helped very few. Our citizens deserve the right and freedom to make their own choices about their health care from the type of policy to the level of care. These should be their choices, not the government's mandate.

The middle class in this country are struggling under an ever growing list of taxes by their government. The current cost on the American worker's paycheck for the Affordable Care Act has increased an average of 49% in 2014. The cost to the American taxpayers is approximately $12 Billion for 2014. We need to get government out of the way and allow the free market to work for its people. The greatest way to grow freedom is to remove the mandatory requirements of the Affordable Care Act on our citizens and allow them to make their own choices about their health care. This will lead us back into prosperity and bring back our small businesses. We must also have a plan to replace the Affordable Care Act and help a struggling system that has left too many of our citizens broken and bankrupt.

Last November, the American people delivered a clear message that government is getting in the way of the pursuit of the American Dream. Arguing and voting to repeal the Affordable Care Act is not enough. The American people expect true leadership by actually providing a replacement solution to this failing health care policy. I have a four step strategy to replace the Affordable Care Act. The requirement for individuals to participate in a government mandated health insurance program is a violation of our constitutional rights. If individuals elect to carry health insurance, and we actually want to improve the health care system. the recommended changes below should be adopted:

Guiding tort reform
Providing policy options by allowing individuals to purchase insurance across state lines
Universal coverage of catastrophic health events
Wellness programs that reward a proactive healthy lifestyle

My policy is to create the data-driven dialogue among the stakeholders of healthcare. America is blessed with incredible business professionals who solve major problems daily. They, along with U.S. citizens and Legislators, can evolve health care in America into something more efficient and satisfactory for our American workers, employers, insurance companies, and healthcare professionals along with the growing industry of privatized urgent care facilities. The marketplace can effectively and efficiently produce 21st century health care programs and reduce the financial burden on the American worker.

My vision for this great nation is to restore our freedom and allow individuals the opportunity to determine their own future. I know that if we work together to Repeal and Replace the Affordable Care Act we will then restore our freedom and liberty.
